01 06 ORZITAL There are several types of CNC machines globally and we are proud to introduce Orzital as the first CNC crankshaft in-situ grinding machine.
On-situ crankshaft grinding machine offers as the only solution for repairing a damaged crankshaft when there is no way or no time to dismantle the crankshaft and now with Orzital, it’s become faster and more cost-effective
02 06 This is not an overnight design The story began in 2014 during a visit to a cargo ship in the Persian Gulf with a crankshaft failure, at that time there was no qualified provider in Iran, so as a designer I thought of an onsite crank pin grinding business, and since there was no seller I start to design and produce machine by myself.

After so many fails and efforts finally machine was born.
After a while, I got feedback from my team to make it more user-friendly. Since it was arduous to continuously adjust, load, and feed on each rotation and then change the direction as a routine, we decided to upgrade the machine to CNC.
After many years, finally, we are hereby introducing the first CNC in-situ crankshaft grinding machine in the world, ORZITAL.
The prototype machine was tested by a qualified expert on several samples and projects; accordingly, the detected minor issues were fixed one by one.

04 06 What feature onsite machine have? 1. Accuracy:
a. When we talk about crankshaft, it is equal to the highest accuracy available. Crankshafts refer to the workshop by only a few hundredths damages and it means accuracy is the major thing in crankshaft repair. Orbital can divide 0.005 mm with a digital display; so, the operator can easily control the machine to not over-grinding, and get the best result in dimension.
b. Orzital technology is not only user-friendly but also offers a 0.005mm adjustment capability for grinding the crankshaft to have very close dimensional and geometric tolerance.
2. Light weight, portability:
a. When we are talking about in-situ machines, it means they should be portable to be easily used on-site, with a special body design. Orzital not only provides more strength for the machine but also the machine is compact and in minimum weight.
b. Machine should be light in weight; also, it should be strong enough and have a long life span. We use special alloy-hardened steels to make the machine, and all parts of the surface are grinded and of the best quality.
c. Orzital is divided into 3 toolboxes with all components, they are easy to carry and waterproof.
3. User friendly:
a. Orzital design looks complicated but has an easy procedure of operation and with CNC capability it is easier to use.
b. Since the place of application of the device is usually very narrow, the Orzital is designed in the form of easy installation.
c. Due to the sensitivity of the work, the measurement must be done in different stages; so, Orzital is designed in such a way that there is no need to open and close it for measurement.
d. Easy adjustment for various sizes in width and diameter is another feature of Orzital.
4. Performance:
a. Surface quality comes from a low vibration, you can find Orzital with a very strong structure.
b. Because of rapid grinding, in most cases there is no need to machine the crankpin and then grind it. It is possible to grind crankpin in one glance to the final size; however, it is possible to use a machine attachment with a functional program.
5. 12 pints support:
a. With the stable installation design method that we use in Orzital, it is possible to use it when other nearby equipment is operating or when sailing.
b. This method of installation provides very good quality during grinding and minimum polish is required for making the job finished.
1. Knowledge:
Do we need CNC programming? Do we need any programming knowledge and language? Not at all, Orzital is fully pre-programmed; after installation, the operator only needs to adjust speed and movements.
Orzital is programmed by hundreds of tests to ensure the best quality and speed ever.
7. Range: Orzital itself is divided into 5 sizes to cover from 150mm to 600mm diameter crankpins with all necessary tools and accessories.
05 06 Application The machine has been developed after extensive field applications and research, now it is a practical and user-friendly tool that provides excellent results.
The machine can be adapted to other applications like shaft and journal grinding in various industries.
Our technology has proved its worth in many different applications ranging from marine to land-based industries.
The in-situ crankshaft grinding machine's primary application is the repairing of crankshafts by grinding of crankpin and main journal of a diesel engine. land-based engine as in diesel power plants & pumping stations and/or in sea-going vessels.
but the machine can also be used for grinding of other cylindrical surfaces as below:
